Man may have attended wake hours before being fatally stabbed

A man found with fatal stab wounds may have attended a wake just hours before his death.

Police have launched a murder investigation after the man, believed to be inhis forties, was found at an address in Croft Bank, near Skegness, Lincolnshire, on Wednesday evening.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Lincolnshire Police say the man has not been formally identified but isbelieved to be from the local area.

A man aged 25 and a 36-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the death and are in custody being questioned.

Detective Inspector Helen Evans, from East Midlands special operations unit, said:
