UK's first ever leap day triplets celebrate 16th birthday
The UK's first ever leap day triplets are celebrating their 16th birthday today.
India, Savannah and Alicia Bullock are from Wolverhampton.
A leap year comes round once every four years, which means they have only officially celebrated their birthday on the 29th of February, four times.
Their father, Warren, told ITV News Central the girls come from a dancing family as he and his wife, Jane, own Zig Zag Dance Factory which operated studios across the Midlands.
Warren said a leap day feels just the same as any other birthday for the girls as they have never known any different.
Warren said:
We last caught up with the trio in 2008 when they were "two", but really eight.
Here is a video of them opening presents on their birthday.
There is a 1 in 6,400 chance of having triplets and the chance of being born on a leap year is 1 in 1461.
That means the chance of giving birth to triplets on a leap year is 1 in 9,350,400.
