Police appeal after alleged robbery
Police are appealing for the help in identifying a man who they want to speak to in connection with an alleged robbery.
The incident took place at about 2.30am on Friday in Upper Priory Street, Northampton, when a private hire taxi driver was allegedly assaulted by a man he had picked up in the town centre.
The offender demanded the driver hand over cash before making off from the scene.
The offender has been described as a white man, around 6ft tall and of average build.
He was wearing a light grey hooded top with a dark jacket over it, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may recognise the description of the offender or who may have any information regarding this incident.
They would also like to speak to anyone who may recognise the man pictured.
