Unexpected famous fans of Midlands football teams

The rumoured famous fans of several football teams across the Midlands have been revealed, including royalty and a very famous fox.

It comes after basketball star Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal posted a video backing Northampton Town as the club bid to win promotion this season.

So we have put together a list of some other famous faces who have shown their support for teams across the Midlands.

ASTON VILLA

Prince William - William told Gary Lineker in an interview last year that he decided to support Aston Villa because of their great history and to be different to his friends.

David Cameron - The Prime Minister says he is a Villa fan but made this infamous gaffe during a speech in London. (SPOILER: He says he is a West Ham fan and blames the mistake on "brain fade")

Tom Hanks - The Oscar-winning actor revealed that he chose to support Villa because he liked their name.

Ozzy Osbourne - The brummie singer and two of his bandmates are also said to be Villa fans.

WEST BROM
