Unexpected famous fans of Midlands football teams
The rumoured famous fans of several football teams across the Midlands have been revealed, including royalty and a very famous fox.
It comes after basketball star Basketball star Shaquille O'Neal posted a video backing Northampton Town as the club bid to win promotion this season.
So we have put together a list of some other famous faces who have shown their support for teams across the Midlands.
ASTON VILLA
Prince William - William told Gary Lineker in an interview last year that he decided to support Aston Villa because of their great history and to be different to his friends.
David Cameron - The Prime Minister says he is a Villa fan but made this infamous gaffe during a speech in London. (SPOILER: He says he is a West Ham fan and blames the mistake on "brain fade")
Tom Hanks - The Oscar-winning actor revealed that he chose to support Villa because he liked their name.
Ozzy Osbourne - The brummie singer and two of his bandmates are also said to be Villa fans.
LEICESTER CITY
Gary Lineker - Leicester City supporter and also a former player!
Basil Brush - Well.. the man who operated him was a huge Foxes fan.
STOKE CITY
Sugar Ray Leonard - The american former professional boxer has been spotted attending a game.
Busta Rhymes - The rapper was pictured wearing a Potters top in LA in 2010.
Jeremy Bates - Former Tennis player who won the mixed doubles titles at Wimbledon and can be heard on some Stoke podcasts.
WEST BROM
Liam Payne - The One Direction star is a West Brom fan, despite coming from Wolverhampton.
Adrian Chiles - Was initially taken to West Brom games by his Grandad and has followed the side ever since.
Goran Ivanisevic - The 2001 Wimbledon champion.
