'Don't Panic,' Dad's Army film premiere comes to the Midlands

The new Dad's Army movie gets its Midlands premier this evening with film-makers hoping the re-make will be as popular with audiences as its 1960's and 70's TV ancestor.

The film features a star studded cast, with the likes of Catherine Zeta Jones and Bill Nighy cast to revive the 70s classic.

At its peak, the escapades of Captain Manwaring and his hapless Home Guard entertained audiences of over 18 million.
