Police: 'No credible threat' in calls made to six schools
Bomb threats made to six schools in the West Midlands this morning pose 'no credible threat', according to intelligence experts.
Police are investigating the calls, which were made to four schools in Sandwell, one in Dudley and one in south Birmingham.
The calls were made in 'quick succession' at around 8am this morning.
It follows similar phone threats to four schools in the Black Country last week that saw hundreds of pupils evacuated before police confirmed they were hoaxes.
Local police officers have been sent to the affected schools to carry out checks and to reassure staff and parents.
