Lottery ticket worth £33m could finally have an owner
After a search to find the owner of a lotto ticket worth more than £33 million, a newsagent in Worcester has told ITV that a local woman claims to have won it.
Natu Patel said that the woman came into his shop saying she had the winning ticket but because it had been in the wash, it had faded.
After the draw on Saturday 9 January, National Lottery players were urged to triple-check their tickets in order to claim one half of the £66m Lotto jackpot.
Our reporter Matt Gough spoke to Natu Patel:
The ticket is now being examined by Camelot officials.
