'Mystery millionaire' sought in Worcester as bosses appeal for lottery ticket holder to come forward
Bosses from the National Lottery have been in Worcester today in a bid to find the owner of a £33million winning lottery ticket.
Camelot paid a visit to the city a day after the operator announced a ticket bought in the area matched all six numbers in the record £66million jackpot on January 9.
The operator's senior winners' advisor, Andy Carter urged punters to check down the side of their sofas for lost tickets.
He added that the winning ticket-holder has 180 days to claim the winnings, giving them a deadline of July 7 to come forward.
A couple from the Scottish Borders celebrated winning the other half of the jackpot amid a flurry of media attention last week.
