Mystery surrounds human remains found in garden
An investigation is underway after human remains were found in a Lincolnshire village.
The bones were discovered when the homeowner was digging a hole in their garden in Stickney on Sunday afternoon.
Lincolnshire Police said the bones were confirmed to be human after they were examined by an anthropologist.
Further tests are required to establish the age of the bones and determine if they are from an ancient burial, police said.
