Sex offender jailed for assaulting young girls

A 70-year old man from Nottinghamshire who admitted a string of sexual assaults against young girls across the county dating back to the 1970s has been jailed.

Michael Brown from Pleasley, appeared at Nottingham Crown Court earlier this week for sentencing. He was jailed for 17 years and will be placed on theSex Offenders' Register for life, as well as being subject to a sexual harm prevention order.
