Report: Meet the Doggy Donors saving lives this Christmas

As part of our Christmas programme, ITV News Central went to meet Maverick the Husky. He's a much-loved pet - and he had his life saved by some very generous canines who donated their blood so he could have the transfusion he needed.

He got the blood he needed thanks to a blood bank charity for dogs - the only one of its kind in the UK, based in Loughborough.
