Coventry-based Jaguar to return to racing
Jaguar has announced that it is to return to global motorsport from autumn 2016.
The Coventry based company is entering the Formula E Championship as a manufacturer with its own team. They’ve been out of the game since 2004 but had been a key player in days gone by.
Jaguar are not naming names yet when it comes to drivers but they say they’ll be using ground-breaking technology and plan to become pioneers in motorsport.

For research and development, Jaguar is partnering with Williams Advanced Engineering who are already involved in the championship.
Jaguar say their research in motor racing should benefit future domestic electric vehicle customers.
