Watchdog probes claims that police officer 'punched' teenager
The police watchdog is looking into an incident where an officer allegedlypunched a teenager "several times".
The IPCC said the 17-year-old was searched and detained at a house inNorthampton in August as officers responded to reports of an assault.
It is alleged that one of the two Northamptonshire Police officers at the scene punched the boy "several times" and swore at him.
The teenager was subsequently released without charge.
An investigation into the conduct of the two officers has been launched.
