It's exactly two years since a tidal surge flooded the town of Boston in Lincolnshire.

The council has since received £2.2 million in grants to help those affected make their homes more resilient in the future with flood resistant doors, coverings for air bricks, and one-way valves to stop sewage leaks.

To mark the anniversary a flood line lottery has been launched - with the chance to win £500 if people sign up for the Environment Agency's flood alerts.

The first draw will be at the end of this month. Only 60% of the population are currently signed up to the warnings system.

Plans to build a tidal barrier on the Haven have entered the last round of public consultation - the project is on target to be in place by 2019.
