Adele gig tickets being sold online for £550 each

Tickets for Adele's gigs in Birmingham are being sold online for £550 each.

It has sparked anger among fans waiting for the Genting Arena tickets to go on general public sale tomorrow morning.

Despite the singer’s own crackdown on touts, advance sale tickets snapped up by members of her fan club on Tuesday started appearing online at astronomical prices within minutes.

Adele’s manager Jonathan Dickens said his team had excluded more than 18,000 “known or likely touts”.

Angry fans took to social media to complain about the trade in tickets for the March 29 and 30 gigs, part of Adele’s first tour for four years.

Original tickets cost between GBP35 and GBP95, plus booking fees. There is also a limit of four tickets per person.
