Detectives investigating a double shooting in Birmingham have arrested a third suspect on suspicion of murder.

A firearms warrant was executed at an address in Tividale last night and a Birmingham man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 33-year-old is being questioned by detectives who are investigating the murder of 25-year-old Derek Junior Myers on Friday 30 October in Soho Hill, Hockley.

A second man who was injured during the incident remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Two other men remain on police bail while enquiries continue.
