Maternity services at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch will close from today.

It is because there aren't enough staff to safely cover neonatal rotas.

The services will be temporarily transferred 20 miles away to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital from midday.

This will be followed by the transferral of all births subsequently.
