Police investigating the discovery of a man's body near a motorway junction have issued details of his personal effects in an attempt to identify him.

They were discovered by a highway worker beside the M54 in Telford in August.

West Mercia Police hope images of a jacket and a bracelet similar to thosefound at the scene will help the public put a name to the man.

Here's what's known so far:

  • The deceased person was male

  • Between 5"7 and 5"11 in height

  • At the scene for at least two to three years

  • Was wearing a navy blue V neck shirt (George at Asda brand) in size small

  • Was wearing dark coloured Nike tracksuit bottoms in size medium

  • Was wearing a black 'dare2be' soft shell outdoor jacket in a large size (seen below)

Other facts:

  • Could be from a Sikh background (A bracelet identified at the scene could be a Kara bracelet worn by members of the Sikh faith)

  • He was missing an upper left central tooth (this was later replaced by a Rochette dental bridge)

What's not known:

  • Name

  • Cause of death
