People from across the Midlands have attended a candlelight vigil in Leicester this evening, in memory of two Sikhs killed by police after their holy scripture was destroyed.

Torn up copies of the Guru Granth Sahib were found in parts of the northern Indian state of Punjab last week leading to widespread protests by Sikhs, who claim that those responsible are not being brought to justice.
