Thousands of motorcyclists from around the country are making a pilgrimage to the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire today for the Ride to the Wall motorcycle event.

It is the only event of its kind in the country that gives motorcyclists the opportunity to show their support for the Armed Forces with a dedicated service of Remembrance.

It also raises considerable funds for the National Memorial Arboretum, which is part of The Royal British Legion and provides a permanent home to the striking Armed Forces Memorial.
