Puppy attacked by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers
A Cocker Spaniel puppy was attacked by what were believed to be Staffordshire Bull Terriers who weren't on a lead.
West Mercia Police said the puppy was "shaken" but did not sustain any injuries due to its owner intervening, which led to him receiving an injury to his hand.
The attack happened on land behind Wombridge Way in Telford at around 6.50am on 30 September.
One of the Staffordshire Bull Terriers was black and white, and the other was grey, police said.
The dogs were accompanied by two men who were said to both be white, aged in their late 40s, around 5ft 9 tall and had short light brown hair.
Both men were thought to be wearing dark blue zip-up sports jackets, with a red emblem of TT races, and wearing blue jeans.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information. They are asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 54 of 30th September.
