Calendar Guys bare all for Worcestershire WI charity
A group of cheeky Calendar Girls-inspired husbands and boyfriends from Worcestershire have been baring all for charity.
The men have "volunteered" to strip at the behest of their nearest and dearest in the Women's Institute's local Upton-upon-Severn branch - aptly named the Hot Peppers.
Gemma Dewson, branch member and photographer, said convincing their partners was easy in most cases although some required more persistence - and a little alcohol.
The 33-year-old added: "Some were forthcoming and others had a bit more persuasion to show all, but it was a really good response."
The calendar was thought up by a branch member to mark the organisation's centenary this year.
The black and white shots feature some familiar town faces and places, including the local post-master in the Post Office - albeit in the buff and with some of their modesty preserved.
Mr July, Rowan Thomas, 56, and David Semple - who features along with a well-placed watering can as Mr August - said they were happy to bare flesh for the cause.
The calendar is being sold to raise money to for the local GP surgery's Friends association and has already sold out of its 250 print run, since launching on September 16.
Mrs Dewson said the response from locals, and particularly women, had been "really good". But she added that she didn't know of any men who had bought one yet.
Calendars can be ordered through the branch's website www.uptonwi.co.uk
