Fundraising appeal for mum who died on fairground ride whilst with young daughters

A funfair owner has launched a fundraising appeal for a mother who died after suffering a cardiac arrest on one of his rides.

Lianne Harris was with her two young daughters when she collapsed on the Twister at Robert Wilkinson’s funfair in Sheldon Country Park on Sunday.

First-aiders had managed to revive her twice before paramedics arrived just before 5pm on Sunday. But Lianne, aged in her 30s, later died at Heartlands Hospital.

Travelling fairground owner Robert Wilkinson has now vowed to set up the ‘Lianne Harris fund’ to help support her family.
