Nottingham-based Boots has been named among the friendliest places to work in the country, according to a new survey.

It was named alongside high-street retailers including TK Maxx, WH Smith, Debenhams, Asda and Greggs.

Research by jobs website Glassdoor said comments it received about the winners included praise for managers, a friendly atmosphere, staff discount, subsidised canteens and different time-off options.
