Police investigate 'altercation' in a Lincolnshire hotel

Police are conducting a forensic examination after what they describe as an altercation in a hotel in Lincolnshire.

Officers were called to the George Hotel in Spilsby late last night.

A 62-year-old man sustained minor injuries whilst in the building during an alleged assault.

The argument continued outside in the car park, where a 44-year-old man was involved in a collision with a car.He was taken to the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston with cuts, grazes and bruises.

Police have seized a grey Renault Megane car.

A 31-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
