Thousands expected to attend Shrewsbury Folk Festival
The annual Shrewsbury Folk Festival has got under way at the West Midlands Showground.
This year the organisers have started a new scheme called "All Together Now" - which aims to get people in Shropshire involved in music and dance from across the world.
The headline acts can play to thousands.
The festival has been running for almost two decades - and sells out every year.
The aim is to get more more World Music and dance included in the event.
There are four stages to choose from, including the Sabrina Stage and the Village Stage.
The entire event is also streamed online and reaches audiences across the world.
