Midlands = home of bhangra: what the stars think

Some of the world's biggest Asian music artists, singers and producers have gathered in Birmingham to celebrate their achievements ahead of a national ceremony.

The artists, who are based in Midlands' locations like Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Derby, Leicester and many others, are known to millions of bhangra fans worldwide for their music - but many remain rooted to our region.

They've been telling ITV News Central why they think the Midlands is definitely home to the ever-growing bhangra scene.
