Rugby World Cup trophy continues Leicester tour
Members of the public in Leicester will have another chance to see the Rugby World Cup trophy as it continues its tour of the city with just over a month to go until the tournament.
The trophy will visit two locations in Leicester and a third location in Market Harborough over the course of the day and the evening.
9am - 11am: Leicester Grammar School
11:30am - 1.30pm: Judgemeadow Community College
7.30pm - 11.00pm: Market Harborough
9am - 11am: Leicester Grammar School
There'll be a mini tournament for pupils from Leicester Grammar School and other local schools and rugby clubs taking place this morning. The Webb Ellis Cup will also be on site for members of the public to take photos. Spectators are welcome to attend the tournament.
11:30am - 1.30pm: Judgemeadow Community College
Judgemeadow Community College will host a rugby camp event aimed at getting members of the South Asian community interested in the sport. There will be taster sessions designed to introduce new players to rugby basics. The trophy will also be on display at the college.
7.30pm - 11.00pm: Market Harborough
Heineken will be holding an event at the Spar on Coventry Road in Market Harborough for members of the public to see the Webb Ellis Cup and have their photo taken with it. Entry is only open to those over the age of 18.
