Thousands expected at 'Lark in the Park' in West Bridgford

Thousands of families are expected to turn out for West Bridgford's 'Lark in the Park' day at Bridgford park today to celebrate national play day.

This year's event is science fiction and superhero themed and visitors are encouraged to come along in costumes from famous films and television series such as Star Wars, Star Trek and Dr Who.

There will also be the usual family attractions including fair rides, craft workshops, sports activities and inflatables. The day will run from 10am to 4pm and is being supported by local businesses and organisations.
