Hat-trick for Worcestershire bowler Joe Leach
A pacey bowler took three wickets in a county cricket match today - in the first three balls of the match.
Seamer Joe Leach, 24, knocked over three opening batsmen for Worcestershire in their Sunday's One-Day Cup game versus Northamptonshire at New Road.
Proceedings were then interrupted by an adventurous swans which wandered onto the pitch.
It is not the first time the remarkable feat has been achieved.
At the 2003 Cricket World Cup, Sri Lanka's Chaminda Vaas became the first player in history to take such a hat-trick in a win over Bangladesh.
