Hayley Pointon murder: Timeline of how it happened
31st January 2013: Three days before mother-of-two Hayley Pointon was murdered, one of her killer's was released from prison. 25-year-old Aaron Power went straight back into a life of crime.
2nd February 2013: He drove with 24-year-old Aaron Newman from Coventry to Hinckley on a recee the day before Hayley died. They'd been hired to kill a man called Nigel Barwell, Hayley's boyfriend.
3rd February 2013: A gun was fired at the rear of the house on Sunnydale Road. The bullet missed Barwell and killed Hayley. During the 999 call Barwell told the operator "They came for me and now she's dead."
After the shooting: Newman and Power drove to a road nearby and swapped their vehicle and drove from the scene.
The gun used in the shooting was never found. Officers searched the nearby Ashby Canal for clues but nothing significant came up.
Police say they don't know which of these men pulled the trigger on that cold Sunday night in February two and a half years ago.
Aaron Power and Aaron Newman denied killing her but were found guilty of her murder.
They will be sentenced on Monday.
Another man, Dylan Whitty, was found guilty of assisting an offender. Three others James Simpson, Craig Adamson and Matthew Dicey were found not guilty of assisting an offender.
