101-year-old Nepalese man gets a new home courtesy of Midlands activity centre

Shropshire adventure centre have managed to rebuild the home of an elderly Nepalese couple, who lost everything following the two earthquakes in May.

Live The Adventure have so far managed to raise £18,000 for the people of Nepal and their first project was to rebuild the home of an 101-year-old man and his 95-year-old wife.

The project which was led by Ant Eddies-Davies who is the director of the Midlands centre, also managed to earthquake-proof the new house in Sindupolchok.

As well as rebuilding the home of 101-year-old Mr Kul Bahadur, the centre and its director, have also found five other families in need of support.

They will be back in Nepal in August to check on the other homes being rebuilt and starting work on a new school in the area.
