Robbie Williams will be auctioning off some of his possessions today to raise money for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice in Stoke on Trent.

The auction will be taking place later today at Bonhams auction house in Knightsbridge. Stoke-born Robbie is hoping the sale will raise considerable amounts of money for the charity, after a similar auction in 2001 raised £165,000. Items on sale include:

  • Handwritten lyrics for Let Me Entertain You

  • The cream two-piece suit worn by Robbie in the video for Radio

  • A Take That MTV video music award

  • A multi-platinum award for the album I’ve Been Expecting You

Robbie, who has spoken at his pride of being a patron of the charity, has said he hopes the sale will make a 'real difference' for children whose lives have been 'tragically limited'.

The auction will take place at 3pm today with viewings between 9am and noon. It can be viewed live online on the Bonhams website.
