Organisers of the Birmingham International Jazz Festival are devoting the final days of the event to the internationally-renowned singer who died in 1959 aged just 44.

Alongside tributes from Lady Sings The Blues featuring Val Wiseman, Digby Fairweather, Roy Williams, Alan Barnes, Brian Dee, Len Skeat and Eric Ford, a Walsall-based brewery is also showcasing a special festival ale, Billie's Brew, to celebrate.
