Six sentenced to more than 25 years in jail after multiple burglary offences

Six men have been sentenced to more than 25 years in prison following a series of burglary offences across Leicestershire.

The defendants all pleaded guilty at hearings that have taken place in the last year to a variety of burglary offences and were sentenced at Leicester Crown Court on July 1.

Oliver Le Butt Seal, 25, of Lobbs Wood Court, Leicester, pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, one count of attempted burglary, handling stolen goods and theft of a number plates and was sentenced to four and a half year.

Luca Murray, 25, of formerly of Padside Close, Hamilton, pleaded guilty to five counts of burglary and was sentenced to two years.

Kyle Slaney, 29, formerly of Warren View, Leicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary and was sentenced to five years.

Ricky Green, 26, of Radiant Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to four counts of burglary, he was sentenced to five years four months.

Jordan Stewart, 26, of Colchester Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary and two counts of attempted burglary and was sentenced to five years.

Harry Green, 23, of Radiant Road, Leicester, pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary, one count of theft of motor vehicles and one count of handling stolen goods, he has been sentenced to four years.

A seventh person, Cassandra Parry (23) of Wolsey Way, Syston pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods and was given a community order at an earlier hearing.

  • Burglary at a business premises in Shaw Lane, Markfield on 14 May, 2014

  • Burglary at a business in Leicester Road, Wigston between 30 June and 1 July, 2014

  • Burglary at a house in Scraptoft Lane, Leicester between 11 July and 12 July, 2014

  • Burglary at a house in Brookfield Street, Syston between 23 July and 24 July, 2014

  • Burglary at a house in Quickthorns, Oadby on 23 July, 2014

  • Burglary at a house in Uppingham Road, Bushby on 25 July, 2014

  • Burglary at a house in Melton Road, Hickling Pastures, Nottingham
