Local MP Emma Reynolds is calling for "urgent meetings" regarding possible Goodyear closure
Goodyear Dunlop Tyres UK (GDTUK) has today announced proposals to close its Wolverhampton facility in response to changing market conditions.
The site currently employs approximately 330 people and if the closure does go ahead, all 330 jobs would be lost.
Local MP, Emma Reynolds has told ITV News that she is calling for "urgent meetings with the company senior management, the City Council and trade unions".
Goodyear have said that the proposals are "subject to consultation with relevant employee representative bodies" and they are "determined to find responsible and fair solutions for all affected employees."
