Fun in the water at Leicester's biggest free festival
Visitors have been enjoying the second day of Leicester's Riverside Festival.
The event, which aims to bring live entertainment to the city, has been attended by thousands.
Organised by both the city council and local volunteers, its attractions include the popular dragon boat race.
Live music also featured.
The festival spread across Bede Park, Mile Straight, Western Boulevard and Castle Gardens.
People of all ages could enjoy boat trips, a variety of food stalls from around the world, displays and a range of different activities.
The River Soar - stretching for around 28 miles through Leicestershire - was once the most profitable commercial navigation route in Britain.
