Family of 'Granddad Villa' left speechless by applause
Despite Villa's disappointing loss, the family of Graham Hassall, affectionately known as 'Granddad Villa' felt they'd had their own victory today.
In the 63rd minute of the game, 25,000 Villa fans joined in an applause for Graham who lost his life to cancer this year.
He was a season ticket holder for more than 40 years but the only trophy he hadn't seen them lift in person was the FA Cup.
Today, his family told ITV News Central they were 'left speechless' and wanted to thank all the Villa fans who had made their day so much better.
