Group of men attack man outside home in 'violent' machete attack
A man's arm was nearly severed off in a "ferocious and violent" machete attack involving around eight men, police said.
The 24-year-old was in a house with a friend in Quinton near Birmingham on Tuesday evening when a number of vehicles pulled up at around 6.15pm.
West Midlands Police said the man went outside to see what they wanted and was attacked by around eight met with bats. He seriously injured his right arm and back when he was attacked by a machete, police added.
