An appeal has been launched after a cat got a huge mechanical trap caught on it's head in Cheltenham.
The cat was taken to the vets where he was successfully removed from the clutches and escaped with minor injuries.
He has now been returned to his owner.
The RSPCA are trying to find who is responsible for leaving the trap out as they are warning they could be breaking the law.
