Midlands Weather: Look at the downpours!

Heavy showers are moving east to west Credit: ITV Central

With Low Pressure sitting to the north of the UK we have an array of lively showers spreading though the Midlands that are proving to be very heavy.

You can see the heaviest showers on the radar illustrated by the brighter colours of yellows, orange and reds. The heaviest showers are producing 8-16mm of rain an hour.

It is quite breezy though so the showers are moving through fairly quickly and should clear by tonight.

Temperatures will dip to 3c tonight so there is a chance of a frost.

Wednesday will be a much calmer day with sunny spells and isolated showers. The wind will be lighter so it won't feel as chilly.
