A duck was left in agony when his beak was trapped in a discarded drinks can in Shrewsbury.
Members of the public spotted the mallard with the serrated can stuck around his lower beak and tongue, leaving him unable to feed or drink.
He was rescued by the RSPCA, who cut him free from the can, before rushing him to a nearby wildlife rescue centre for treatment.
