Follow the election through the night with ITV

ITV will be providing rolling coverage of the night's events on air and online.

ITV News Central

We will have all the Midlands results as soon as they are declared on our website, along with picture, video and analysis provided by our reporters at counts around the region.

We will be providing longer than normal bulletins within Good Morning Britain from 6:00 on Friday morning before an Election Special at 18:00 that evening.

ITV National

The national website will update you instantly on the country-wide political situation, including social media analysis, updates from counts and expert views.

ITV will bring you the national picture on air from 21:55 just before the Exit Polls are revealed at 22:00.

Political editor Tom Bradby and presenter Julie Etchingham will guide you through the night's events until the Good Morning Britain team take over at 6:00.

GMB will round up the night until just before 9:30 when presenter Alastair Stewart begins a day of election coverage.

The national news is scheduled to follow ITV Central as normal at 18:30 and News at Ten is also planned to broadcast.
