Midlands adventure firm aims to raise thousands for Nepal earthquake victims
A Midlands-based adventure firm is aiming to raise thousands of pounds for the victims of the Nepal earthquake.
Live The Adventure, based in Stottesdon near Bewdley, has close ties with Nepal, organising several white water rafting and trekking trips there every year.
Company owner Anthony Eddies-Davies has been visiting the country for over 25 years, and says he's devastated at seeing a nation he knows so well, thrown into utter chaos.

Anthony's firm has offices in Kathmandu, but he does not yet know if they were damaged in the 7.9 magnitude quake which struck nearly a week ago.
Mr Eddies-Davies has been able to contact some friends and colleagues since the disaster, but is now planning a trip next month to see the scale of the damage himself. So far more than 6,000 have been confirmed dead.
The tour guide and explorer will film his visit, in order to kick start fundraising in the Midlands to help those most in need.
He says he has already been inundated with people who have previously been on trips to the country with his firm, asking how they can help.
As well as providing short term relief to those most in need, the adventure company director wants to make sure that any aid he gives is also long term, like the rebuilding of a school, or medical centre.
