Who is the living person you most admire?

Because I’m such a big sports fan, I’m going to have two. Jonny Wilkinson has only just retired from professional rugby but I think he was awesome. He was a brilliant player with the heart of a lion. I once heard him described as a 16 stone man in a 12 stone body; he was fearless and put that body on the line time and time again. A true role model for us all especially young people.

Politically, I would have to go with Vince Cable. Ok, so he is a politician but he is the most unpolitical person I have ever met. He just looks at the issue and comes up with the best way of dealing with it, regardless of the politics. Once again, someone to admire.

What is your favourite TV programme?

Easy, without a shadow of doubt it has to be Game of Thrones.

What song would you take with you to a desert island?

Wild West Hero by ELO.

What new law do you want to introduce?

One that would limit bankers' bonuses, many of these people are still living on a different planet to the rest of us. They need to get real!

What is the most important issue facing your constituents?

There is a huge problem with Dudley town centre, it needs serious rejuvenation. This has a knock on effect to employment especially youth unemployment.
