Who is the living person you most admire?

The first living person I admire the most is of course my mum, but after her, at the moment it's Malala Yousafzai - not only did she inspire me to be more active in politics and take a stand, she has inspired my own children, in so many ways.

What is your favourite TV programme?

Favourite TV programme - for our family is Doctor Who - we like to watch that together, for myself it's The Musketeers.

What song would you take with you to a desert island?

I would go with Laura Marling, Once. It's a lovely song about moving on in life and life choices.

What new law do you want to introduce?

A robustly written and implemented Tax Evasion law. The money that could be returned to the economy could do so much good. Almost every aspect of life could be made better.

What is the most important issue facing your constituents?

It needs proper investment in public services, and people need bringing out of poverty.
