Who is the living person you most admire?
My dad. He was orphaned at the age of ten, came to Britain as a refugee at the outbreak of the Second World War and could speak no English but became the youngest head teacher in the country and was honoured by the Queen for his charity work in Dudley.
What is your favourite TV programme?
Any bike race.
What song would you take with you to a desert island?
One loud enough to be heard by a passing ship.
What new law do you want to introduce?
A Bill establishing a Royal Commission to make education and skills our country’s number one priority to boost standards and bring new industries and jobs to areas like the Black Country.
What is the most important issue facing your constituents?
Without a doubt the threat to 400 jobs at Russells Hall Hospital which would be a disaster for local residents.
