Who is the living person you most admire?

My Aunty Carolyn. Her son, my cousin, died over a decade ago. It was heartbreaking and she has been tremendously brave through the years.

What is your favourite TV programme?

The Voice. I am a big fan, although I usually watch it on catch-up rather than on the night.

What song would you take with you to a desert island?

Everlasting Love by Love Unlimited.

What new law do you want to introduce?

As a Government we have done a lot to support small firms – such as lowering business rates and reducing red tape. More work to cut taxes to help businesses grow and recruit.

What is the most important issue facing your constituents?

Locally crime and anti-social behaviour. We have had tremendous success with crime cuts in Derbyshire by 21% since 2010, but we can still always do more.
