Who is the living person you most admire?

Muhammad Ali, who fought back against the Vietnam War and the draft programme, and was banned from pro-boxing for 4 years as a result. He famously said "I ain't got no quarrel with the Vietcong" and refused to support the brutal campaign. Not only was he an incredible sportsman, he was an eminent Peace and Civil Rights campaigner before it was 'fashionable', something many forget.

What is your favourite TV programme?

Any of Louis Theroux's documentaries. As well as being incredibly entertaining, they have also provided a valuable insight into groups such as climate change deniers and US Neo-Nazi groups.

What song would you take with you to a desert island?

Mr E's Beautiful Blues by the Eels. A beautiful song with an important message.

What new law do you want to introduce?

An end to the right to buy scheme. We cannot sell off social housing - we need more not less!

What is the most important issue facing your constituents?

Austerity. Cuts to council funding have led to bins being removed, child poverty is at 19%, and already struggling families are being further hit by welfare reform.
