Tower of London poppy creator to open new armed forces 'pop in' centre

Paul Cummins, the ceramic artist behind the Tower of London's Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red remembrance display is to officially open a new 'pop in' centre for armed forces in Derby.

It is one of 16 new Royal British Legion centres delivering frontline services to the armed forces community in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Rutland and Lincolnshire.

The centre will be an information hotspot where members of the armed forces community can drop-in for advice and access support.

It is part of a wider transformation of services by The Royal British Legion. They are the UK's leading armed forces charity providing care and support to current and former service personnel and their families.
